COLLIERIES’ STAFF & OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION
Your Union for Mining Professionals
Built by mining staff.
Built for mining staff.
A century of representation, advocacy and hard-won industrial outcomes for the professionals who keep Australia's mines running safely.
About CSOA
The Collieries' Staff and Officials Association (CSOA) is your union for managers, supervisors, professionals, engineers, technical, administrative and clerical workers in the mining industry.
Since 1921, CSOA has been the primary union representing staff and supervisors in the coal mining industry. For years, our members have shaped entitlements and conditions across the industry and have been responsible for countless high-profile wins and landmark legal decisions improving the lives of mining staff and supervisors.
Our team of workplace representatives, organisers and legal officers leverage that experience to provide representation and advocacy for professional staff across all mining related industries.
Why join CSOA?
From day one of your membership you have direct access to a national team of legal, industrial and workplace experts who understand the mining industry.
