About CSOA

The Collieries' Staff and Officials Association (CSOA) is your union for managers, supervisors, professionals, engineers, technical, administrative and clerical workers in the mining industry.

Since 1921, CSOA has been the primary union representing staff and supervisors in the coal mining industry. For years, our members have shaped entitlements and conditions across the industry and have been responsible for countless high-profile wins and landmark legal decisions improving the lives of mining staff and supervisors.

Our team of workplace representatives, organisers and legal officers leverage that experience to provide representation and advocacy for professional staff across all mining related industries.
